Travel News Readers have once again voted Kenya Airways their African Airline of Choice. The magazine has been carrying out the Quest for the Best award scheme since 1998.  The scheme acknowledges solely through reader participation excellence in number of fields in the tourism sector.

In addition to the best continental airline, over 5,000 readers, mainly from East Africa voted KQ the best regional and local airline respectively.They voted Flying Blue, the airline’s joint frequent flier program with KLM, and Msafiri, the in flight magazine the best in the respective categories.

The awards were presented to KQ during the Skål dinner held in Mombasa on Friday 22nd August 2008. The guest of honour during this function was Tourism Minister Hon. Najib Balala. On hand to receive the awards was the CEO, Titus Naikuni, Commercial Director, Richard Nuttall and the Mombasa KQ team.
