On the 31st of January 2008 Kenya airways opened a new office in Dar es Salaam. The function was graced by Kenya airways commercial Director Mr Hugh Fraser and the Kenyan ambassador in Tanzania His Excellency Mr Boaz Mbaya. Speaking during the event which was attended by top travel agents and KQ customers, the Kenyan ambassador reiterated that Kenya was keen in working together with Tanzania and for KQ to continue to invest millions of shillings in Tanzania was a proof of the government commitment to work together with Tanzania. Mr Hugh Fraser thanked KQ customers in Tanzania for continually supporting Kenya airways “KQ has opened a very expensive modern and spacious Ticketing and sales office for the customers in Dar es salaam because we value you and appreciate the endless support you give to our business” said Mr. Hugh.
